50th ANNIVERSARY
The Society celebrated its fiftieth Anniversary in September 2016



Stanhope Photographic Society meet at 7.30pm each Tuesday evening, from September through to the following Easter in the St. Thomas Church Hall, Front Street, Stanhope, DL13 2UE.
How to Find us

The Society is a member of the Northern Counties Photographic Federation and The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.

Our weekly meetings bring together people of all ages, our present membership has members aged 19 years to 101 years with an interest in photography, no matter their level of experience or expertise.

Members present their work in digital image, print and audio visual formats.

The Club (Society) hold friendly competitions within the club and hold annual competitions on a home and away basis with
Teesdale Photographic Society,  and Castleside  & District P.C.

We  meet socially  with Teesdale P.S. with an A.V.  Presentation evening again on a home and away basis.

Our meetings are a mix of illustrated talks and practical  evenings.

Outings are mutually arranged.

Membership Fees are £20.00p per season, accompanied Junior members welcome.

The Society also hold 'Open Evenings' when the meetings are open to the public to attend for a nominal entrance fee of £1.50p including tea and refreshments.

Visitors are always welcome to attend any meeting have a cup of tea and a chat. 
Visitors are also free to attend three club meetings before deciding whether to become a full member of the Society.
